This thread might be the worst case of straw-manning and talking past each other that I've ever seen on this forum. And that's saying something.

Nobody in this thread has said nudity is shameful. Not one.

Nobody has said consenting adults shouldn't be able to swim, take steam baths, and hang out in hot tubs naked together. Not one.

The only concerns expressed here are over the inclusion of children in an event without any vetting of participants*, and whether children are capable of freely giving consent to participating in this kind of activity, when their vulnerability to parental pressure makes any consent questionable.

So anyone looking for a genuine discussion should address those issues. Taking wild swings at straw-men isn't as sophisticated as many here seem to feel it is.

* Nudists themselves recognize their activities are vulnerable to dubious participants. Which is why they typically have quite strict regulations around joining. Prospective participants are often vetted beforehand. Many clubs and spas accept only couples, or single people sponsored by couples who are members. They take these precautions for a reason.
