Really glad the Flames got the win last night. They played a hell of a first which is how one would hope they would respond to the coach flipping out.
I was very happy they responded physically to the Ducks. Bennett is awesome just loving his game over the past month and throwing down with Manson isn’t easy and he got the knock down.
I was happy to see Gulutzan fires up on the bench after that. I think I saw an emotion from this Flames team that has been lacking. The Ducks outplayed them for most of the last 2 periods and if the Flames lost it would have been a crushing defeat. The narrative would be playing right into the Ducks hand the Flames got knocked off their game. Instead the Flames rallied and got the win in regulation and this emotional win could set the tone for the rest of the year and hopefully get the Flames back in the playoffs.
A regulation win against the Wild on Tuesday would be huge
