[Max Cow Disease]

I don’t agree with the firm lashing that some are giving III. It’s rated and reviewed a good margin better than the other two prequel movies on essentially every website, which is for good reason if you ask me. Fans and critics both received it well compared to its prequel predecessors. It retained some of the “quirks” of the other two, sure, but was still better. I mean, if we’re comparing any of these flicks to Shawshank Redemption or something...yeah, sure, they’re all awful I suppose, but with something like Star Wars we have to assess things on somewhat of a relative basis.

I still love that opera scene. Despite some campy acting by McDairmid in RotS, I loved him throughout the prequels. I also really enjoy the eerie sunset scene as Anakin’s making his final decision to go down the tubes of darkness.

...The “flying Leia” moment of that movie for me, however, was “nooooooooooooooo!!!”. Not only did it damper the conclusion of III itself, but was later used by a maniacal Lucas to retroactively pollute the conclusion of VI as well. Egregious.
