Taking an inane comment that was obviously aimed at not sparking further controversy and extrapolating how it reflects on someone's overall character is a massive, overdramatic leap.
We have nowhere near enough concrete information to start suggesting Giordano's captaincy should be threatened. That's just crazy.
This is a young team battling in a league with strong parity at the mid-way point of the season. This manufactured notion something is rotten to the core and someone needs to pay a price is just bizarre.

1. Never said I knew what was said or not said behind closed doors. I'm commenting on what was said publicly, to the media. How is that not clear to you?
2. I never criticized Giordano's character, only his leadership abilities. Those are two different things. How is that not clear to you?
3. Clearly the "wild overreaction" you accuse me of is shared by the Calgary Flames head coach. How is that not clear to you?
4. How is it not partially on the captain when a team is underperforming? Or on the verge of being out-of-reach of the playoffs?
It's hilarious that scratchingStajan and stripping Brouwer of his "A" are find, but any criticism of Giordano's leadership is somehow sacriledge. Give me a break.
