I don't like the captain downplaying this to the media after practice. All I want to hear from the captain is "the coach was right, we weren't practicing hard enough." Instead we get, "omg, did you see that stick throw?"
A big part of the leadership problem with the Flames rests firmly on Giordano's shoulders. You want to give him a pass? Fine. I'm not prepared to do so. I expect him to be calling out the vets, too.
