It might not have been staged but could GG have anticipated that his group would respond after a big win with a poor practice? If they have historically done that - sure.
And could he have identified that if they did - he would lose it? Sure.
But he could have also just lost his cool in the moment.
I think the bigger topic here is the possible flaws in the make-up of this team. Do they want it bad enough? Are they willing to put in the work on a consistent basis?
I continue to worry that the overall personality of the team is too passive, too casual. Need more guys that HATE to lose like Tkachuk and Smith. I suspect that those are two guys that practice like they play.
