Both companies have renumbered their issues and then un-renumbering when they reach landmark numbers. It's confusing and stupid.

I actually like how DC returned to the original numbering after ending the new 52. They returned to the initial continuity. Also allows everyone to pretend the New 52 never existed.
They should have done it with a few more of the classic titles though.
