I agree that he would probably cost a lot, but he would justify it. You are probably right, his acquisition cost would be a lot higher than Pacioretty's.
From a Flames perspective, it might be easy to extend Stone. His brother plays for the team and it's close to home.

It's hard to say if the price would be justified, because he would cost some of our top end talent. If Stone is going to get traded to Calgary one of the following or more is going back.
Monahan/Gaudreau/Brodie/Hamilton/Tkachuk
Id be fine with moving a Brodie or Hamilton, but we add on both of them imo.
