I like Stajan and what he brought to the Flames for most of his time here but he was essentially the return for Phaneuf. White played about 40 games as a Flame and Hagman just over a season. It's not as bad as the Gilmour trade but it's the 2nd worst trade in franchise history as the Flames traded at the time a top pairing defenseman for Matt Stajan and spare parts. Not exactly sure what Darryl was smoking that day but I wouldn't mind a puff of whatever that was.
