I'd rather they just do 4-on-4 for 5 minutes, and 3-on-3 till someone scores. I doubt it would last much longer than the addition of a shootout on top of 10 minutes, and would at least be team oriented. Or if they want to be even more efficient, just start at 3-on-3.
