Hamonic wasn't an overpay...it might not work out or have been the right move in hindsight but given the value of defencemen it wasn't an overpay
The Oilers traded #16 and #33 for Griffin Reinhart FFS
Hamonic and Hamilton are better than the average 1st round draft pick...sure you could hit a home run and find a better player but how many times have the Flames done that in 30 years
Flames damn near got a 1st for a few months of Kris Russell
