Of course, and I couldn't agree more.
But we have Smith, Gillies and Parsons. While the latter two have not shown anything of what Rittich has, if a desperate Ottawa is willing to bet the farm that solid goaltending solves their woes it's a position of strength we can ask for the moon for.
Very rare the Flames find themselves in this position.
