What if Brouwer was going back. Would you do Brouwer+Kulak for Dion (with some salary retained)? What about Brouwer+Stone for Dion + Pick. It frees up a roster spot + upgrades our defensive core + helps on PP + maybe gives the team some swagger + frees up cap space.

Good lord no. Dion makes $7M a year and I don’t see Ottawa trading him with enough salary retained to even be remotely interesting from a Flames standpoint.
Adding more money on the blueline is the last thing the Flames need to do.
Something around Stone and Hoffman makes sense to me. I read the Sens were interestednin Stone before he re-signed in Calgary this offseason.
