Stajan is on the team for a reason. It might not always be clear to those of us on the outside, but I choose to side with he organization on this. Further, if it gets to the point where they can't put him out there anymore, they won't. As long as there is a replacement that has earned it, they will replace him.
My bet is that by the end of the year/playoffs Stajan is eating popcorn and Mangipane is a regular.
At the end of the day, Stajan is not holding this team back. I'm looking at Monahan, Hamilton, Brodie, Gaudreau. You know, the whole 'your best players need to be your best players' thing? Pretty damn hard to win consistently with the performances we've seen from this lot over the past 6 weeks or so.

For me, its not that Stajan is on the team, its how he is used, the situations the coaching staff puts him in. They use him too much. He shouldnt be dressing in as many games as he does. He should no longer be used so much on the PK. And for **** sakes lets not put him out right after we score a goal, its a momentum killer. I guess what I am saying is the Flames need better coaching.
