They are paying RoR $7.5M and Eichel $10M next year which is a lot for top 2 centre’s on a bad team. Looking at what Buffalo fans want the most on HF it would be a top pairing right shot D. Hamilton is exactly that at the right age and a great contract.
RoR is not enough to get Hamilton alone. Reinhart has struggled mightily for Buffalo. This deal they get out of a rather pricey contract and land the Dman they want. Reinhart has far more upside than Lazar but that is the price they pay to get the Dman they want. Freddie just comes with Dougie.
If Reinhart is valued that much higher than I anticipate here then maybe swap him for Kane?
