Next year, potentially Fox and/or Valimaki might be ready too.
But then we have two RH defencemen on the 2nd pair which seems crazy. Top 4 RH defencemen are a huge commodity in the NHL and to play two of them on the same line seems like a waste of assets.

When we traded for Hamonic I was okay with it, even though the cost was really high, I assumed that Stone was going to be too expensive. Then when we signed Stone to a reasonable contract I was stunned, why the hell would we make that trade when Stone would seem to have been a slight downgrade but he was a free acquisition? That was the biggest mistake Treliving has made IMO, huge mistake. Brouwer is a close 2nd but he didn't cost anything but unused cap space and a roster spot so far.

We should cut our losses with Hamonic, Brodie-Stone has proven to be a good pairing from what I've seen, Anderson can easily be our 3rd pairing RD D-man. Just a huge blunder and waste of assets IMO. Trading Hamilton or Brodie would be a terrible move.
