If Iginla could play that role, he'd be in the NHL right now. Brouwer is a NHL player right now, Iginla is not. Brouwer is cast in a tough spot, playing with Stajan - who is not a NHL player - and trying to make things work. I'd sa see what he can do with Hrivik and Mangipagne before completely throwing him under the bus. But in comparison to Iginla, Brouwer is the vastly superior player at this point, and that hurts to say.
