Then make a trade if it is not on the coaches.
I would look at something like
2019 1st and 2020 2nd (and maybe a prospect) for Evander Kane. Gets you some scoring help for the top line and does not cost you anything. If it goes south, you could always recoup the picks at the deadline (Stajan, Brouwer, Lazar etc.)
