it's being used in this case because usually your initial post on a subject is one or two lines of snark/derision, with a bonus for labeling the board as a homerific homerey homertown. only when you're called out to explain further do we get a quality post backing up your position.
you often have good, valid opinions on things hockey related, but they too often get buried under your compulsion to kick things off with a zinger. clean that up and you'll find the discussions a lot more productive.
