I get that we're all Flames fans here and that many posters may not have a great knowledge of other players and teams but come on. I shouldn't need to do a detailed post "proving" that Bergeron is in a completely different class than Backlund. It isn't a "drive-by" to point out that it's ridiculous to compare those two players. We're talking about a guy who played on the top line for Team Canada... twice. He won a gold medal and a World Championship. A guy who's won 4 Selkes. A guy who was the clear favourite for the Conn Smythe if Boston won in 2013.
The term "drive by" is now synonymous with an opinion that I don't like but don't care to address directly.
