I don't know, it seems like this issue is something I can't win. My youngest has a girlfriend with liberal parents who smoke in front of them, and have no issue with them smoking. I have absolutely no sway anymore.
I am down to the option of accepting or kicking out. And it doesn't seem like the latter is an appropriate response.
I was all for decriminalization. I don't have a problem with adults making responsible choices regarding it. I just don't know what to do with it.
There was always a parent out there who would host the drinking party, with the logic that if they are going to drink I want them to do it under my roof, or give their kids condoms or birth control because they are going to have sex and they want them to be safe. So now we have to do that with weed too?
