I'm not complaining though, one clinic sells strains ranging from 6-12$ a gram. Another actually has the audacity to "tax" 15% on each gram which is flawed. These places (judging by how busy they are all time) are making an absolute killing. If anyone has more info on this or insight on why they're not getting shut down immediately by the police that'd be great.

The RCMP (or local police force) don't want to waste the man power to bust these places when they are going to be legal soon anyways. In Victoria and Van, they even sell business licences to the dispensaries.
As long as there are no complaints of selling to minors or they aren't close to schools, daycares, etc they don't really care. There are literally hundreds of them on the west coast.
