The medical frigate was a new (in Universe) Nebulon C class (we have seen Nebulon B's in the OT, the medical frigate at the end of ESB) and was not very large or heavy, and same goes for the final ship we saw destroyed. Some sort of Correllian model that is apparently referred to as a "glass cannon", lots of weaponry but very light in construction.

I wish there was even more capital ship porn shots for the enthusiasts out there. Snoke's Mega Dreadnaught class Supremacy is 13km long and 60 (!!)km wide. it's a B-2 bomber that took all the steroids in the galaxy and ended up closer in scale to the Death Star than an actual ship.

the takeaway from this is that you just have to assume the First Order's resources are completely unlimited for whatever reason. they lost Starkiller base, a weapon literally hundreds of times the volume of the Death Star, and Snoke did not gaf. he was like eh, pick up what's left of Kylo and we'll have the Resistance down to 3 ships by the start of next movie. so even if the good guys wanted to start spending resources on hyperspace rams, the First Order would be able to pump more ships out than they'll ever have bullets for.
