You know what, I didn't even mind that. I saw it as her just force grabbing the ship and drawing herself to it because of the lack of gravity. I admit it looked strange, but I had no issue with the concept of it. (I am putting aside the real effects of being in a vacuum here of course, this is a fantasy movie so I don't expect it to maintain a solid adherence to actual physics).

the Yoda scene was great. That scene was easily the most Star Wars-ey thing in the movie and I thought it worked great. And is it just me, or did they actually use a puppet for yoda? Sure looked that way.
It sure looked like a puppet for most of the shots, and I'm really glad they went with Yoda's ESB/ROTJ personality instead of the prequels.

John Williams' score was fantastic as always.
The score was fantastic, The music when the Falcon flew underground on the red/salt planet (can't remember the name..Kanto something) was an inspired re-use of the music from the original movies.

Not sure how I feel yet about Snoke's unexpected early death. Sure, I guess Kylo needed to kill him in order to completely turn dark and carry on Grandpa Vader's legacy. But I was hoping to get more of a back story on him.

The biggest surprise for me was Snoke. His death with a lack of explanation was odd, but I do understand that killing Snoke really was the next step in Kylo's journey. My first thought is that Snoke will return as some kind of force ghost, just like Luke will, and that the final battle will be between dark and light not only in the physical world, but also on whatever metaphysical plane the force ghosts exist on.
