I bet that's how our Flames would be described if Gerard Gallant was our head coach.
The reason Gallant was fired by the Panthers was primarily because they fell in love with analytics and Gallant coached more like they did 15-20 years ago.
I have no doubt that all of the fancy metrics mean something in the long run. Having a feel for the game, understanding your players strengths and weaknesses, motivating your group (and individuals) and relying on tried and true methods still has a place in the game.
I wish we had ended up with the other GG.
