Frolik has ok skating ability, ok shot, and just an ok player....He is not creative enough to be playing in OT. He's a north south player and not shifty and lacks the creativity like what you want and need in OT. He has a shoot mentality and those shots are not high percentage scoring chances at all.
Tkachuk and jankowski are better fits in my opinion.
What are everyone's thoughts? I would like to hear a different perspective. I certainly haven't noticed him add much value.

I agree he's not as creative as Tkachuk and not as shifty as Jankowski. I think they use him for defensive purposes. He's probably better than Tkachuk or Jankowski in that regard at this point in their careers. In fact, he is probably the second best two way forward on the Flames.
