I just like Hamilton's toolbox more than Brodie's and his potential to become good in his own zone is better too.
On handedness, while the Flames have a lot of RHD, that's because Treliving really worked at it. RHD are pretty hard to find in the league. Plus, Valimaki and Kylington are LHD. Valimaki is really close to being NHL ready IMO. I suppose that handedness and age are reasons why Buffalo would insist on Hamilton, but I still think Hamilton will be a top Dman in the league for a lot of years. The Flames would arguably be giving up the best player in the deal, which = losing the deal.
