Seriously, I don't want to be going through school, working like a dog, etc so I can enjoy my money when I'm 72 years old. I think life (and money) should be enjoyed in the present (while being conservative enough to have money in the future). Retirement shouldn't be the goal, but just part of the process, no?

I was actually just being an a** I don't honestly think that. I took Poli Sci because I enjoy it, and I'm taking Public Administration because again, I enjoy it (mind you I love saying I'm taking Public Admin so I don't have to deal with the public
)
I've always been a pay now, reward later kind of guy. I don't like paying for something after the fact, doesn't seem as sweet. So I guess to an extent the statement is accurate, but I want to enjoy like now as well... see point #5
