That man was born at 1949 and from what I could collect from the article, his role in the downing of Boeing is "not clear". While I am open to the idea that it was Russians who did it, I struggle to comprehend it was a cold-blooded order by a 65 years old retired general. That man, as pee wikipedia, was not a tactical commander, but rather advisor/inspector type.
