Was at the game yesterday and being in section 115, I had the privilege to see Monahan's game winner and not only is his shot underrated but he has a funky release which completely freezes goalies at times. Price had no clue he was shooting stick side as when he received Johnny's pass I felt he was going against the grain glove side as he does in shootouts.
As soon as he received the feed in the slot I was already up and cheering as I knew he would score cause afterall he thrives on these situations.
We are so fortunate to have him.

I was watching his release, it was kind of a pull back twist and flick all in one motion. In billiards you can use different types of English to control where want the ball to go. His release was kind of like that in that he probably has some control of where he wants it. The goalie can't really see that because of the way it comes off the blade.
