Really don't know if Backlund gets his payday from the Flames. Janko going to need to get paid, Bennetts going to get a raise most likely, then Tkachuk....
We will see where we are at come deadline day but I suspect Janko is going to ease whatever concerns anyone has of where do the find a suitable replacement for Backlund.
I'm so confused with Backs, to me he's a forever Flame but does that match the build cycle of the team.
