TBQH, Boruwer is effective in front of the goalie. He doesn't get points, but plays a pretty critical role. Gio's goal in Toronto was because of Brouwer's work in front of the net.

It's an underappreciated and underrated role for sure. Guys that play that spot get killed. Remember Ciccerelli and his back brace he had to wear? I think Ferland is a better option, and Tkachuk loves the dirty areas so
The PP does need some re-jigging though. I'd like to see a first unit with Gio and either Hamilton or Jankowski on the point/high slot areas, Gaudreau, Monahan and Ferland up front. People have been clamoring for Stone on the point because of his shot, but, while it's super hard, he misses a fair bit (did a self-zone-exit last night). It hasn't gotten through that much. He can go to the second unit - Brodie and him on the points, Backlund, Bennett and Jagr/Frolik up front.
