Looking at his entire body of work, I've been a supporter of GG. But I'm so sick of these D pairings that are losing us games. Put Brodie with goddamn Stone. The bloody answer is in front of everyone. But nope, because Mike Babcock demanded LD/RD pairing on TEAM CANADA, our coach feels the need to do the same. Big difference being, Babcock had a steady stream of elite LD/RD pairing to select from. We don't.

They weren't really ripping on GG IMO. More having fun with "what if" GG was to decide to have a fit on the bench, what should he do?
I don't disagree that Babock uses L/L D on his first pairing because that's what he has. But the problem is right now that Treliving worked hard to get even pairs, which in almost all situations works, but supposedly doesn't for Brodie. So now he has a slate of RH Dmen. Which one gets to play off-side because Brodie can't handle the switch? Is putting Stone, Hamonic or Hamilton on the wrong side to appease Brodie just going to make their games worse?
