Signed Ramo to 3.8M to be a backup and then waived him after like, one bad game.

Has stuck by Jordan Sigalet through annual meltdowns by Hiller, Johnson, Elliott now Lack and probably eventually Smith

2nd (Jordan Kyrou) for a goalie rental (Elliott)

Engelland for 2.9 x 3

Stone for 3.5 x 3

3rd liner (and eventually waived/bought out) Mason Raymond for 3.0 x 3

4th liner (and eventually bought out) Bouma for 2.2 x 3

Waived Paul Byron, essentially for being injured.

Gambled on Jankowski signing out of college, even though Jankowski could easily have gone UFA

Lowballed Ferland to a bridge deal despite that expiring the same time as Tkachuk

Lowballed Gaudreau to a six year term when eight years were obvous

Did not waive Joe Colborne, despite him being the obviously worse player the same preseason

Signed Troy Brouwer for 4.5 x 4 despite all the evidence that Brouwer was a passenger who took advantage of being overused on special teams and a hot playoffs with perfect linemates

Traded for Travis Hamonic using an unprotected 1st + two 2nds after Travis Hamonic was one of the least effective defensemen in the NHL last year
Traded a 2nd round pick for Curtis Lazar

Fired Bob Hartley when most of the fanbase, even people who err on the side of corsi, were not ready to fire Bob Hartley

Brings in a players' coach for a young team that had the Superbowl debacle the year prior

Hired the assistant of the coach who Hartley humiliated in the playoffs to be our new head coach

Hired the coach of the 2016 NHL's worst special teams to run our power play
