Treliving is thoughtful, calm and articulate. All qualities you want in a GM. But a mixed record on his moves once you take away the pending UFA auctions. For the most part, the best players on this team were already here when he arrived.
At some point, he concludes the current team is not on a championship trajectory. Or has already concluded. Since he basically has no picks in the next draft it will be interesting to see his next move.
That's why so many people want a coaching change. It seems like an easy upgrade compared to any other move he can make.
