Also, over the course of an 82 game regular season, there are some games that are more important than others. HNIC against your fiercest rivals would be at or near the top of the list.
The other thing about last night and Tuesday against the Leafs, is having to endure opposing fans. It's all good fun when things are at least competitive, but when your team doesn't even show up, and you have to endure the unbridled revelry of the opposing fans, twice in 5 days, it gets pretty frustrating.
Telling others they take things too seriously probably isn't the most useful comment.

they won a game in between there. i dont know man, i look at the standings and see them in the thick of a really tight western conference and dont think the season ended last night. yeah it sucks the oilers seem to have the flames' number recently, but a bunch of obnoxious coiler fans making the dome a home game for them doesn't drive me to wanting the coaching staff dismissed and shipping our entire defense core minus gio out of town
