Guys like Dougie, Brodie and Hamonic are all underperforming whether it's systematic or simply because the coach refuses to let players play on their offside.
If GG can't get our top players to perform that our GM brought in at a VERY high price point Treliving needs to eat crow and fire his head coach.
We spent 2x 1st round picks, 3x 2nd round picks and 1x 3rd round picks for Dougie and Hamonic.
Brodie was a top 10 defensemen at one point and now he looks lost.
Dougie is soft and probably gets away with more than he should because the captain is rock solid night in night out.
Hamonic doesn't even look like a top 4 guy most nights. I'm willing to give him a bit more time because defensemen in a new system can take a while, but given how Brodie and Dougie look i'm not convinced Hamonic just needs more time. I'd be more comfortable with Stone in his spot and that's a problem
These aren't bad players. They're good players who have proven to be good players time and time again and if they're all consistently underperforming GG needs to go.
