Treliving IMO is a wonderful GM and has assembled a great team, unfortunately his worst move was hiring Gully and his crew of coaches. He hired the wrong coach from the Canuck organization. Unfortunately Gully does is not the right coach for this team or probably any NHL team. This team could go a long ways this season with the right coach.
Give me a break playing Brouwer on the pp. We have one great shot from the right point and that is Stone. With Stone firing bullets from the point we would be scoring a lot more pp goals. Stone would also have been a great improvement over Versteeg on the right point.
Many of us dedicated fans also advocated having Ferland on Gaud and Money's line long before Gully finally figured it out. I would not be surprised if it was actually Treliving telling Gully to play him on first line. Also Stajan needs to sit, Freddie needs to go to Stockton and Mangiapane or one of the other young guys called up.
I think the uncertainty of Freddie remaining on the team is hurting Doug as at times last night he was in another zone/place. Send Freddie and let Dougie grow up.
