I was on the "Brouwer had a bad year but will bounce back" train. But this guy has no hockey IQ and no skill to make up for it. The only time he's at all effective is when he's playing a physical role, which he doesn't do with any regularity. He plays like Lance Bouma (at his worst) but paid like a top sixer. Maybe he's a good guy in the room but you can pay a lot less for a guy that brings veteran leadership and little else.
