I mean, at a certain point the onus has to be on the players to perform. Brad Treliving could go out today and trade for Sidney Crosby in a lopsided deal, but after that, it's on Crosby to actually play well. Travis Hamonic, Brian Elliott, Troy Brouwer -- these are all guys with histories of success in the NHL who just faltered after coming to Calgary. How is Treliving supposed to deal with that?
