Stone just signed with the Flames as a UFA. By definition the Flames paid more for him than anyone else thought he was worth 24 games ago. His play since he signed has not made his value go up.

Thing is that valuations are different depending on the the time of year, team situations and needs change, etc.
But continue to work on your 2-column spread sheet, sorting on cap hit one day, ice time the next.
