I've been sitting on some really cool photos for a while now and am going to share some. My grandfather was born towards the end of WW1 and was an avid photographer his entire life. He has documented the changing face of Calgary from what I believe is during the 1950s, until his death 5 years ago. After he died, my uncle was able to get thousands upon thousands of slides converted into digital format that I have saved onto my PC. Every once in a while, I'll go through these photos and reminisce on not only what life was like for my Dad and his family growing up, but how Calgary itself has changed through time.
