I still remember being in an absolute brawl outside of Rock City, I had to call my Dad to come and bail me out after that one, talk about awkward conversations on the way home. Not about being at a peeler club and being underaged, my old man probably at a deep down level completely respected that. But he wanted to know how I did in the fight since I was a mess.

Was it in the back of the Majestic Inn or just down the street? I worked as a bell hop there in about '83. There was a peeler bar by day and biker bar/live bands at night. There was a small gay bar hidden on the corner of the back parking lot. I think the main bar was called The Magic Stick.
Delivered a lot of room service up to the strippers rooms. I was a shy, skinny 18 yr old, it was an eye opener for sure. Lots of bikers hung out there, Kings Crew and Grim Reapers if I remember correctly. Cops came in mass to more than a few brawls in the parking lot.
