The talk on the trade rumour thread had me thinking where I'd want to play or not if I was an NHL'er...a big lol in itself.

Part of me thinks if I was fortunate enough to play, that I should just suck it up and let management decide. But I'm going to play prima donna here and submit my list.

Because I'm shunning media attention, and recognition as much as possible, my list would reflect that for the most part.

1) All Canadian cities. Sorry Canada, I love you but want no part of that scene.

2) Minnesota

3) Buffalo

4) Colorado

5) Detroit

6) New York...either team. A certain amount of anonymity likely, but I'm not sure I'd want to live in the New York City area. I guess that would probably include New Jersey too, unless they have a kick ass team, or maybe willing to pay me the moon!

I'd probably be good to go for the rest of them. I might end up on some crap teams, but making a good living, and wandering around town like an ordinary joe would probably be worth it to me. I fully understand why many players wouldn't want to play up here. It's just a good thing they're not all like that.
