I would also add Phil Esposito and Bruins GM Harry Sinden. Sinden left it up to coach Don Cherry and Bobby Orr to deliver the news that he had been traded. Orr shows up in a tee shirt and his underwear with Cherry in his housecoat. Phil is sitting on the end of his bed with his highrise hotel window open. Cherry tells Phil he had been traded and Phil said if it was the NY Rangers he would jump out of the window. Cherry tells Orr to close the window
Phil considered it the ultimate betrayal when Harry didn't take the time to talk to him about the trade and the reasons why. Phil wanted to be a Bruin for life.
