We are still using a 10 year old 42" Plasma in our living room, and this might be a cheap upgrade.

I bought a Hisense for my son 2 years ago, the power supply
crapped out 3 months ago, it's a case of you get what you pay for and I suspect it won't last even close to the life of your plasma.

My advice, save some pennies and buy a Samsung or LG
