That call is also not comparable to last year IMO -- big difference between 2nd and Goal on the 2 and 1st and Goal on the 9. DD made a mistake last year but I don't think you can put it on him this year.

I think the odds in the situation is to hand the ball off to Messam. Honestly Dickenson is the most by the book, generic play caller in the CFL but for whatever reason he totally goes off script in these situations. In a goal to go situation where a score of any type gives you a two possession lead and very high odds to win the game you feel comfortable handing it off to Messam or the receiver that almost lost the game last week with his drops? Would you start Lack in a do or die game when Smith is healthy? If no then you also put the ball in Messam's hands there as well as there's two players I don't want the ball near in that situation and that's Parker and Jorden.
