Dunno I was watching the game with the sound off so I didn't hear the number of times the name Bennett was mentioned. But from my view I saw what I always see in him, a player with no head for the game. Constantly confused over what to do in the offensive zone. He has zero touch to his game. In the first period he took the puck out from behind the net to pass it right into a sliding defender who went down to block the pass last Summer. It's was a misread so bad that you rarely see it in the league. Yet there he is, the one with essentially zero hockey sense embarrassing himself out there.
Just watch him in the offensive zone, he has no clue what he's doing. It's nice to see that he can partake in a cycle. But he can't parlay that into offense. Bennett is bringing Jagr down. Think about that a 21 year old fourth overall pick can't drive a line with a 45 year old on it.
It's plain as day to me. He's a bust.
