This question was answered several years ago by me and several friends.

A bunch of us started the U of C Sandwich appreciation club to hadle debates just such as this one, and we concluded (without going into much detail), that infact things like wraps, burritos, and tacos are not in fact sandwiches. Why this had to go to a judge is beyond me, it was decided long ago.
