I knew this thread would be bumped. I don't think it's fair after one bad game in a run of good games (look at the pens getting blown our by Columbus last year), but I do think there will be an adjustment made in the coaching staff at some point soon if the special teams continue to be a disaster.

I was wondering if Tippett was a little overrated but seeing that team with a supposedly improved roster under Tocchet has changed my mind. Sooner or later whether it be Gulutzan or another coach, someone has to get this defense group playing to their potential. He would be a logical replacement but that's not going to happen unless the team misses the playoffs.
